The ONE Campaign

Please visit www.one.org and sign the declaration to join Americans and people worldwide in the fight against poverty. There is no expectation for donations, however I have purchased the ONE armbands if anyone would like to purchase one for $1. It is time for the United States and countries across the world to unite in the battle to fight AIDS and hunger. The cost of a single music album on CD - generally $16 - is enough money to put one child in Africa through school for an entire year... this is including books, uniforms, and tuition. For the price of one meal at McDonalds, one could pay for a child's tuberculosis medicine and treatment for 6 months. As Americans, we forget how much our money is worth worldwide. ONE dollar is more than some African families survive on for an entire year. It's time something is done.
